Mach Hisab

This Privacy Policy explains how the Mach Hisab mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information. Mach Hisab is an offline-first calculator and receipt/ledger app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your data on your device by default.

1. Information We Collect

Information stored only on your device

• Your calculations, receipts, and transaction records (sales, amounts, weights, prices).
• App settings and preferences.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it (for example, sharing a receipt). It is not transmitted to our servers.

Information we collect from you

When you set up the App, we may collect a small profile to understand and support our user base:

• Name
• Phone number
• Farm size
• An anonymous device identifier (a randomly generated UUID) used to avoid duplicate records.

This profile is uploaded on a best-effort basis to our backend service (Supabase) so that we can count our users and reach out for support or feedback. If you have no internet connection, the App continues to work normally and the upload is simply skipped.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App's core features (calculations, receipts, and transaction tracking).
• To understand how many people use the App.
• To contact you for support, important notices, or feedback.
• To improve the App's features and reliability.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

• Your transactions and receipts are stored locally on your device.
• Your profile information is stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase.
• All data transmitted to our backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. We may share information only:

• With service providers (such as Supabase) who help us operate the App, bound to protect your data.
• When required by law or to respond to valid legal requests.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses Supabase as its backend service for storing profile information. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Profile information stored on our backend is retained for as long as needed to operate the App.

To request deletion of your data: email us at kh7hrk@gmail.com from the phone number or with the name associated with your profile. We will delete your profile information from our backend within 30 days of the request. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

7. Your Rights

• You can clear local data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your profile information by contacting us (see Section 6 and Contact below).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
